Material Specification for TlBa:1212; [Tl-Ba-Ca(Y)-Cu-O]
Process: Solid State Reaction
Notes: The authors cite S. Nakajima, et al., Physica C Vol. 168 (1990) 57, and summarize the procedure as follows. "The mixtures of Tl2O3, BaO2, CaO, Y2O3 and CuO were wrapped with gold foil and fired at 880-900 °C for 60-90 min in a flowing oxygen gas of 120 ml/min. The reaction products were slowly cooled in furnace in an oxygen atmosphere and then annealed in oxygen at 400 °C for 20-30 h."

Measurement Method: Dc susceptibility
"T
c was determined from the temperature dependence of resistivity and DC susceptibility. The resistivity was measured by the conventional four-probe method with a measuring current 1 mA. DC susceptibility was measured by a SQUID magnetometer in a field of (796 A/m = 10 Oe)." No additional measurement details were noted.
Cautions: Evaluated Data
