Y:123; [Y-Ba-Cu(Fe)-O]
Material Specification for Y:123; [Y-Ba-Cu(Fe)-O] Process: Solid State Reaction
Notes: "The starting materials...were prepared by a conventional ceramic method from Y2O3 (99.99%), BaCO3 (99.99%), CuO (99.99%) and α-Fe2O3 (99.99%)... 1173 K for 72 ks in air and were slowly cooled to room temperature. They were ground to powders by a planet-type ball mill (zirconia pot and balls)... These powders were annealed in vacuo (base pressure = 10-4 Pa) at 1023 for 7.2 ks. Subsequently they were oxidized at 973 K for 7.2 ks in a pure oxygen atmosphere... These powders were annealed under vacuum at 673 K to obtain specimens with oxygen nonstoichiometry. After various periods of the vacuum annealing, the oxygen contents of specimens were determined by the iodometric titration method."
