Notes: "The samples were prepared from a mixture of oxides Tl2O3, PbO2, SrO2, CuO, Sr2CuO3, and carbonate SrCO3. The amounts of reactants were chosen in order to have the nominal composition... The powders were mixed in an agate mortar, pressed into bars, put in an alumina crucible and sealed in an evacuated quartz ampoule. The ampoules were then introduced in a hot furnace at 900 °C, held for six hours, and quenched down to room temperature."

Measurement Method: X-ray diffraction
"The powder X-ray diffraction patterns were registered by step scanning over an angular range of 13° ≤2θ ≤80° with an increment of 0.02° (2θ) by means of a Philips diffractometer using CuKα radiation. The profile refinement computer program DBW 3.2 was used to refine the cell parameters and the crystal structure."
