Measurement Method: Four-probe resistance
"The temperature dependence of the electrical resistivity under pressure was measured with a dc four-lead method using a high-pressure cryostat. A piston-cylinder device (below 2 GPa) and a cubic anvil device (up to 8 GPa) were used to generate and retain nearly hydrostatic pressure in a Teflon cell filled with a fluid pressure medium, a mixture of Fluorinert No. FC70 and No. FC77. The force applied to the piston was changed only at room temperature and was kept constant during the measurements upon cooling and heating. The pressure was determined by using the Bi I-II and III'-V phase transition points of 2.55 GPa and 7.7 GPa, respectively, at room temperature. The pressure below room temperature was measured with a calibrated Pt(Co) resistance thermometer placed near the sample."
