Critical Temperature for Y:123; [Y-Ba-Cu-O]
Critical Temperature (K)
88.3
Measurement Method: Four-probe method
"After annealing in pure oxygen atmosphere and surface preparation current and potential leads were connected by Ag paste. Contact resistance 0.1Ω was typical one. Reduction of the cross section area of the specimen was achieved by chemical etching... in producing stable microbridges with cross section 20 µm x 20 µm and length 2mm. Symmetrical with respect to 'ground' level current pulses with duration 2µs and period 20ms were applied to current leads. Voltage across the sample was converted by wide-band pulse transformer to unipolar one and after amplification by high-frequency amplifier measured by AD converter... 10 µV as superconducting state voltage criterion,... 50 µV/cm field strength."
