Materials and Properties

La:21; [La(Sr)-Cu-O]
Material Specification for La:21; [La(Sr)-Cu-O] Process: Solid State Reaction
Notes: "All the samples examined were prepared by the usual solid-state reaction in air. A pelletized mixture with the desired ratio of La2O3, SrCO3 and CuO was calcined at 850 °C for 24 h. The product was reground and sintered at 1200 °C for 24 h. Finally the sample was sintered at 950 °C for 72 h, followed by cooling in a furnace."

Measurement Method: Thermopower measurement
The authors cite T. Ohtani et al., Solid State Commun., Vol. 72, 767 (1989), and summarize the procedure as follows. "Measurements were performed in air with a heating rate 2.5 °C/min."

Cautions: Evaluated Data
Digitized data were obtained from Figures 1 and 2 of the paper.
