Notes: "The sample... was prepared by the reaction of a precursor matrix CaSr2Cu2O5 with stoichiometric amounts of high purity Bi2O3 and Pb(AC)2. The matrix was first prepared by the solid state reaction of pure CaCO3, SrCO3 and CuO at 1235 K in air. Appropriate amounts of the matrix powder, Bi2O3 and Pb-acetate were mixed well and heated at 1180 K in air for 2-5 min... This product was cooled, powdered thoroughly, pelletised into 12 mm dia x 12 mm thick pellets and sintered in air at 1120 K for 24 h with several intermediate grindings and furnace-cooled to room-temperature."
