Four-point bend test
Specimens were bars with dimensions 2.54 cm x 1.016 cm x 0.635 cm. Specimens were heat treated in a controlled atmosphere, either a nitrogen-based gas or an endothermic gas, for a controlled period of time. Bend tests were conducted at room temperature. The strength data were analyzed with a 2-parameter Weibull analysis. No additional measurement details were noted.
