"Flexural strength - MIL-STD-1942(MR), specimen size B (ASTM C1161); 3 mm x 4 mm x 50 mm in four-point loading at 20 °C to 1400 °C was used. Dynamic fatigue behavior was evaluated by using crosshead loading speeds of 4x10-3 cm/s to 10-5 cm/s. Flexural stress rupture was evaluated at 1300 °C to 1400 °C for 100 h. Tensile strength - Testing was performed on an Instron electromechanical test system 1361 with Instron Super-Grip couplings, water-cooled grips, and a high-temperature short furnace. Sixteen and one half centimeter long buttonhead test specimens were used. Tensile strength was measured at several loading speeds (4x10-3 cm/s to 10-5 cm/s), in tensile stress rupture (up to 100 h), and in cyclic fatigue (R = 0.1)."
