Comment:
The sample was prepared by heating an appropriate mixture of NaPO3 and Na2CO3 at 1173 K then recrystallising at 773 K over several hours. The intensity ratio of the Gaussian/Lorentzian components was 80/20. An electron flood gun was used for charge compensation.
