Comment:

4 L CH3OH were adsorbed onto Fe54Al46(110)-(1x1) at 120 K and heated to 400 K. The substrate was cleaned by cycles of Ar+ ion bombardment (Ep = 500 eV), annealing (T = 1073 K, time = 8 min) and annealing (T = 1173 K, time = 2 min).
