Adsorption of 1% C2H4+O2 was performed at 1 Pa for 10 hours. The substrate was cleaned by treatment with O2 and H2 (T = 670 K, p = 5 kPa) and cycles of ion bombardment followed by O2 adsorption and flashing to 900 K.
