Comment:
1.5 L CH3I/0.5 L CO/Pd(111). The adsorption at 100 K was followed annealing at 250, 300, 400, or 850 K. The Pd substrate was cleaned by cycles of O2 treatment, Ar+ ion bombardment, flashing and annealing.
