A pure Zn sample was sulfided in a gas mixture H2/H2S at 873 K for 6 h. Another sample was sulfided at 623 K for 1 h under excess sulfur and 260 mbar of H2. For calibration, the Cu L3M45M45 transition at 334.95 eV was also used.
