Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
A current of air predried by calcium chloride was passed through a sample. The moisture abstracted from the sample by this air was absorbed in calcium chloride tubes. The amount of water was calculated from the weights of these tubes. This method is described in ref 1.
Source and Purity of Materials:
(1) source not specified; 100 percent benzene; dehydrated with metallic sodium; purity not specified.
(2) not specified.
Estimated Errors:
Temperature: not specified.
