Glass equilibrium cell fitted with a magnetic stirrer. Pressure measured with a Bourdon gauge. Samples of liquid analyzed by stripping out ethene. Details in Ref. 1.
Source and Purity of Materials:
1. Prepared from ethanol by dehydration and purified by absorption in cuprous chloride under pressure.
2. Distilled.
