Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
A differential static cell equilibrium apparatus was used to measure the infinite dilution activity coefficient of tribromomethane (γ

in water. Cells containing degassed water were submerged in a thermostated water bath. Tribromomethane was injected into the mixture cells, a magnetic stirrer was turned on, and the cells were allowed to equilibrate. The stirrer was then turned off and the differential pressure was recorded. The experiment was repeated at least three times at each temperature.
