Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
A 50 g trichloromethane sample was shaken with pure water in a 100 cm3 Erlenmeyer flask. When equilibrium had been attained and the two phases separated, the organic phase was analyzed for water using the Karl-Fischer titration method. Five determinations were  performed.
