Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
An excess of trichloromethane was added to a stainless steel tube containing water and the tube was sealed. It was allowed to equilibrate during shaking for a week at 25
o
C. After centrifugation, the sample was analyzed for radioactivity using a liquid scintillation counter. The solubility determination was carried out at least twice for each sample and the analysis was done in duplicate.

(1) New England Nuclear, used as received.
(2) Distilled.
Estimated Errors:
Solubility: ± 4.3% std. dev.
Temperature: ± 0.3 K.
