Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
250 cm3 bottles were filled with distilled deionized water and sealed. Measured volumes of dichloromethane were injected into the bottles through each bottle septum using a microliter syringe. Dichloromethane was in excess of the anticipated solubility limit.  The bottles were shaken for one hour with wrist-action shaker and allowed to equilibrate for about 3 weeks. Samples were than injected into a gas chromatograph equipped with a Carbopack column and a FID detector. The GL response was compared  with the calibration plot.

Source and Purity of Materials:
   (1) Probably a commercial reagent at least 99 % pure. Used as received.
   (2) Distilled and deionized.
