Notes:
   a  α = Bunsen coefficient [(cm3)1/(cm3)2 atm-1].

Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
Absorption of pure CO2 at 20 °C (293.15 K) was determined in a gas buret type of apparatus. The cm3 of CO2 absorbed per 100 cm3 of saturated aqueous solution of the salts listed above was measured. The abstract does not make clear if the gas volume absorbed was reduced to standard conditions, however, a reference (1) to this work implies the absorbed gas volumes were reduced to standard conditions.
Neither density nor composition of the saturated salt solutions were given.

Source and Purity of Materials:
The abstract gives no information on source and purity of the components other than the statement "pure CO2".

Estimated Errors:

Temperature: No information given in abstract.
