Notes:
a
Calculated by the compiler.
b
The authors measured and corrected for the density of the pure CO
2
gas at the same temperature and pressure.
c
Solubility as volume of gas reduced at STP per volume of water. (At the equilibrium pressure of the measurement and the real volume of gas.)
Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
An all-glass apparatus was used. It was not stated if stirring was used. Thermostatted at ± 0.1°C. The dissolved gas was measured as a pressure difference in a known volume.
Source and Purity of Materials:
(1) From marble. Dried and air free.
(2) Distilled, degassed.
Estimated Errors:
Solubility: δ
S

Temperature: δ
