Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
   The titration was performed in an Erlenmeyer flask by adding trichloroethene to water until a permanent turbidity was observed. The flask was immersed in a thermostat bath while maintaining a constant agitation by means of a magnetic stirrer. 

Source and Purity of Materials:
   (1) Fluka reagent, laboratory grade, further purified by distillation; middle fraction was used.
   (2) Distilled.
