Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
The dynamic method used for the solubility determination consisted of the saturation of nitrogen with 1,2-dichloroethane vapor which was then bubbled through a thermostatically controlled flask filled with a definite volume of water. After 2-3  hours, the solution became saturated and samples were taken periodically.1 The concentration of 1,2-dichloroethane in water was determined by GLC. Some 3-5 measurements were taken at each temperature.

Source and Purity of Materials:
   (1) Source and purity not given.
   (2) Distilled (compiler).

Estimated Errors:
   Solubility: ± 15 %.
   Temperature: ± 0.05 K.
