Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
An excess quantity of 1,2,3-trichloropropane was added to water and stirred vigorously for 24 hrs. After settling at 25°C for 48 hours, the solution was extracted with cyclohexane. The samples were analyzed using an Aminco-  Bowman spectrophotofluorometer. A detailed description of the method has been reported elsewhere.1
