Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
An excess of 5-10 g 1,2-dichloropropane was equilibrated with 100 cm
3
of distilled water for 24 hours in a bottle. The aqueous solution taken from the bottle was analyzed using a gas chromatograph equipped with a
63
Ni electron capture detector. The GLC column was packed with porous polymer Chromosorb 101. Further details on the determination and evaluation procedures are found elsewhere.
