Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
The solubility of 1,3-dichloropropane was determined in three different aqueous solution types: deionized water and artificial and Mediterranean seawaters. The saturated solutions were prepared under vigorous agitation from four to five hours. After filtration, samples of the homogeneous aqueous phase were analyzed using gas chromatography. Further details on the analytical method are given elsewhere.
