Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
Two methods of conditioning were studied. Conventionally conditioned isotherms were obtained with the samples which had been previously in contact with CO
2
gas under pressure of 6.21 MPa for 2—3 h with consequent pumping for 2 days. Both isotherms were obtained by the pressure decay method.
1
Exchange conditioning involved exposing the samples to CO
2
gas and then sweeping it by a CH
4
flux with the subsequent gravimetric determination of sorption.
