Notes:
Table 1
a
Equilibrium of two liquid phases with the solid phase.
Table 1
b
Equilibrium of liquid phase with the solid phase.
Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
The analytical method was used. Thermostated glass vessels (15 mL capacity) were agitated with the aid of a sealed magnetic stirrer. Mixtures were held 1.5 to 2 hrs with periodic stirring, and samples of liquid phases were taken with a MSh-10 microsyringe through a rubber stopper. Compositions of equilibrium liquid phases were determined by gas chromatography.
Source and Purity of Materials:
(1) Source not specified, pure grade reagent; dried and twice distilled in packed column of 20 theoretical plates; no impurities detectable by GLC.
(2) Source not specified, analytical purity; purified recrystallization; m. p. = 80.2 °C.
(3) Twice distilled.
Estimated Errors:
Temperature: control to ± 0.02 K.
