Notes:
   a  The solid phases are: A = Zn5(OH)8(CHO2)2; B = Zn(OH)2.

Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
The system is studied by the method of physico-chemical analysis. After attaining the equilibrium, the residue concentrations of Zn2+ and OH- are measured and also refractive index (n) of the liquid phases. The methods of measurements are according to Ref. 1.

Source and Purity of Materials:
The zinc formate is obtained from zinc carbonate and formic acid. The obtained product is twice recrystallized.

Estimated Errors:

   Temperature: t =±0.05 °C.
