Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
   The isothermal method was used.1 The formic acid was determined by titration with 0.1 N NaOH using phenolphthalein as indicator. The LiCHO2 concentration was determined by titration with NaOH after passing the weighed sample through a chromatographic column. The water content was calculated by difference. The solid phase was identified by chemical, thermogravimetric, gas chromatographic and x-ray methods.
