Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
   The isothermal method was used. The thermometer was graduated in tenths of a degree C. The barium content was determined gravimetrically as BaSO4.

Source and Purity of Materials:
   Barium formate was prepared by the reaction of the carbonate with formic acid.
