Notes:
a
The T/K values were calculated the compiler.
b
This is the eutectic.
Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
A visual polythermal method was used. The salts were melted in a test tube. The temperatures were measured with a Nichrome-Constantan thermouple and a 17mV full scale millivoltmeter.
Source and Purity of Materials:
Component (1) was synthesized from formic acid and NaHCO
3
. Component (2) was a commercially available product and was further purified by the author according to Laiti.
Estimated Errors:
Solubility: No information is given.
Temperature: The compiler estimates the accuracy of the temperature measurements to be probably ± 2 K.
