Notes:
   a  The solid phases are: A = LiCHO2•H2O; B = Ca(CHO2)2.

Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
The isothermal method was used. Three weeks were allowed for equilibration. The lithium content of both phases was determined by flame photometry in the presence of 0.1 M Al(NO3)3.1 Ca2+ was determined complexometrically. The composition of the solid phases was determined by Schreinemakers' method and controlled crystallo-optically.

Source and Purity of Materials:
The formates were prepared by neutralization of formic acid with the corresponding oxides, hydroxides or carbonates.

Estimated Errors:
   Solubility: No information is given.
   Temperature: No information is given.
