Experimental Remarks:

   The solubility of nitroethane in 3-methylpentane at 298.596 K was reported to be x1 = 0.3627. The corresponding mass percentage calculated by the compilers is 100 w1 = 33.14.
The solubility of nitroethane in 3-methylpentane at 298.596 K was reported to be x2 = 0.2958. The corresponding Mass percentage calculated by the compilers is 100 w2 = 32.53.

   (2) Phillips Petroleum Co.; research grade; 99.99 mole % purity; not purified.
