Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
The synthetic method was used. The solutions of known composition were heated above the critical solution temperature and placed in a bath, which was cooled at the rate of 0.01 K per minute. The solutions were agitated and the temperature at which phase separation occurred was observed.
Source and Purity of Materials:
(1) Matheson, Chemical Co; research grade; distilled through a Todd column; b. p. = 114.7 to 114.8 °C.
