Notes:
1  Compositions of two-component solvent solutions are given on a solute free basis.
2  Only graphical results were available; values of log Henry's constant (H' ) were read from an enlarged graph by the compiler.
3  Values of Henry's constant (H ) and mole fraction solubility (x1) were calculated by the compiler.

Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
A metal cryostat was cooled with dry-ice and acetone and controlled to a temperature to ± 0.05 K.
The equilibration cell was mounted in the cryostat. The solvent was purified by fractional distillation and analyzed by chromatography. Details were not given.

Source and Purity of Materials:
   1. Ethene purity was stated to be 99.9%.
   2. Tetrachloromethane was distilled and analyzed by chromatography. Purity not specified.
   3. Propanone was distilled and analyzed by chromatography. Purity not specified.

Estimated Errors:
   Solubility: δx1/x1 = ± 0.01 (Authors)
   Temperature: δT/K = ± 0.05
