Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
   The isothermal method was used. Seven days were allowed for equilibration. The lithium content of both phases was determined iodometrically, the OH content was determined by titration with HClO4 in an ethylene glycol medium. The content of LiCHO2 was determined by difference. The composition of the solid phases was determined by Schreinemakers' method and controlled crystallo-optically, and by IR spectroscopy.
