4.8. M(CHO2)2-MCl2-H2O systems

The systems included in this section each contain the formate and the chloride of a bi-poositive metal with water as the third component. Solubility studies have been reported for seven systems of this type. The results have been obtained at 25 ºC for each of these systems. Solubility values have also been obtained at 50 ºC for the barium formate-barium chloride-water system, and at 60 ºC for the cadmium formate-cadmium chloride-water system. The data that have been reported are presented on the following pages. All data have been reported by the same author. There are no other studies that have dealt with any of these systems. Therefore, the values are given as they were presented by the author and no attempt has been made to evaluate any of the results.
